From the very famous violinists to many lesser known violin players and musicians, whose names one does not find in any of the standard sources of music literature. These are all violinists of the famous era of shellac gramophone records, the early 78 r.p.m. “singles“ (many of which are now very rare collector's items). The lexicon will be published in several volumes.

The first edition, consisting of Volume 1 and a Register Volume

(with personal register and the lists of references & abbreviations)

is planned for September 2020.
